It was a beautiful Spring-like day yesterday for Linda and Michael’s lifestyle session in Davis! It’s been raining a lot lately, but yesterday it was like Spring. The birds were chirping, the trees blooming, even the ducks were walking together in pairs along Putah Creek!

Nikki, Roly, and I were all wishing for the same thing this weekend – just a little bit of clear weather for their lifestyle session in Davis. We got our wish! We had a great day for their session!

I met up with my friends Nate and Julie a couple of weeks ago at the “WPPI” Wedding and Portrait Photographers International convention in Las Vegas. I met Nate last year at WPPI and it was a total blast meeting Julie and hanging out with both of them!
Anyway, we were hanging out having fun and we thought it would be great fun to do a lifestyle shoot in Vegas! The strip! The casinos! A great couple! Yeah!!!

We thought it would be fun to go inside the hotel where they have this Paris street scene. We wanted to evoke a feel from Paris in around the early 1900′s. Julie and Nate really got that feel!

We loved this red wall. It’s in a parking lot – and for some reason Davis was packed yesterday with people trying to find parking spaces. Alysha and Kamran managed to go for a stroll at just the right moment between circling cars.

I just love their look! Shadi has some great cool looks! I love their togetherness – their connection – you can feel it there all the time. Even when they are standing apart, they are together.
