Sean and Nicole were married at the beautiful North Ponderosa Vineyards in Grass Valley, California. What a lovely spot! And it’s a working vineyard!
Meet Nicole!

The day started off with everyone having lots of fun!

Meet Sean!

Sean and the guys before the ceremony.

Sean and Nicole’s details were beautiful!

They served wine in bottles labeled especially for them. It was fun to explore this Grass Valley vineyard, the landscaping is gorgeous.

Guests could go down the hill slightly to the wine tasting room. When they got there, wedding guests could have wine right from the barrel captured by a wine thief and put right into a glass.

Sean and Nicole’s wedding ceremony overlooked a valley full of vineyards with hills in the distance. It was a beautiful day!

After dinner, we went down into the vineyard and took bride and groom photos.

Sean and Nicole’s first dance as husband and wife.

After their reception, we captured a last look at their day.

Everyone was so happy for Sean and Nicole! Their wedding was beautiful and everyone had lots of fun!!

Cristina and Spencer were married on a beautiful sunny summer day! The vineyard they picked for their ceremony and reception has a beautiful view of the Putah Creek valley and the gorgeous, oak-covered summer hills near Winters, California.
Meet Cristina!

Everyone was so excited for Cristina and Spencer on their big day!

Cristina’s sister did a fabulous job on the centerpieces. Her sister’s company, Anderson Family Catering, also catered the wedding. The tables were beautiful and the food was delicious! I had the barbecued chicken – yumm!!

Spencer and Cristina.

Their colors and flowers were beautiful!

Congratulations Cristina and Spencer!

Michelle and Brad were married at the beautiful, historic Woodland Hotel downtown Woodland, California. I did an engagement session with Michelle and Brad last year and it was a lot of fun! I was really happy they wanted me to shoot their wedding, too!
Meet Michelle!

We were having total fun near this great ivy-covered wall…

…then we thought it would be yet more fun to mix it up near the fountain in the Woodland Hotel courtyard!

After the ladies went back inside, Brad came into the courtyard for some finishing touches.

Michelle’s bouquet was beautiful!

At the end of the day, we slipped out to take some nighttime photos on the streets of Woodland. I always love to get a last look of the bride and groom on their wedding day, before they leave on their honeymoon.

Best wishes Michelle and Brad!!

Yvette and Josh were married at the Wild Wings golf and airport community in Woodland CA. It’s a great wedding location with Northern California countryside surrounding it and it’s right in the middle of a scenic wetlands area. Add lots of really nice people and as you can see from their photos – everyone had a great time celebrating with Yvette and Josh!
Meet Josh and Yvette!

Yvette and Josh’s wedding details connected with birds and the wetlands, the beautiful colors of a Northern California summer and the natural surroundings.

I love the details in Yvette’s wedding dress and the colors in her bouquet.

After the ceremony we went to the nearby wetlands for a bridal party shoot.

I was totally excited when Yvette and her dad did a salsa father-daughter dance! How fun!

Congratulations Yvette and Josh!!

Natalie and John were married this weekend in the Sacramento wine country near the town of Jackson. The beautiful woods and sweeping view at the residence made a great location for their outdoor evening ceremony and night-time reception.
You may recall that I did an engagement session with Natalie and John last November. I learned back then what they were planning for their wedding – it was exciting to see it all come together!
I thought I’d do something different for this blog post. Instead of highlighting ten or so images, I thought I’d tell a mini-version of Natalie and John’s wedding story. It’s a very abbreviated story of their day – just a small fraction of all their images – starting from the beginning to the last photo of their wedding coverage.
Before we start, let’s meet Natalie and John!

We started with Natalie and her bridesmaids having some fun before the ceremony.

The house had a great jukebox!

The guys were having fun before the ceremony, too, of course!

Now, the ceremony is about to start – we really did a fast-forward in time!

They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony.

The first kiss!

After the ceremony, we got photos of the bridal party all together. Don’t they make great zombies!

While the guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks, Natalie, John and I went off for a little while and took bride-and-groom photos.

The last shot we got before the reception was Natalie and John showing their wedding rings.

Now we’ll really fast-forward for the sake of the story – skipping most of the reception, the toasts, and lots of photos – all the way to the first dance. It was a beautiful night outdoors.

Finally, we’ll skip one more time to the end of the evening. John and Natalie, husband and wife, share a moment away from the reception.

So, that’s a very abbreviated version of Natalie and John’s wedding story. I hope you enjoyed it!
